Reports have revealed that the failure of Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah's transfer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab to Al-Ettifaq was due to complex financial demands imposed by his club's management.

The reports indicated that Al-Ettifaq entered advanced negotiations to sign Hamdallah on loan during the current summer transfer window, but the deal faltered after Al-Shabab stipulated a financial compensation for the loan, in addition to covering the player's full salary, which is estimated at around 8 million euros annually.

The Al-Ettifaq management considered these conditions non-negotiable, prompting them to officially withdraw from the deal and redirect their focus towards alternative attacking options, the most prominent of which was Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Kahraba, who has been officially signed.

Abderrazak Hamdallah is considered one of the top scorers in the Saudi Roshan League in recent years, boasting an impressive scoring record that has made him a target for several clubs both inside and outside the kingdom, despite his recent decline in presence with Al-Shabab.
