Standard Offer Bringing Lookman Closer to Al-Hilal
Saudi Al-Hilal Club has entered the race strongly to sign Nigerian star Ademola Lookman, player of Atalanta in Italy, during the ongoing summer transfer window, as part of its efforts to strengthen its attacking line.
Press sources revealed that Al-Hilal has made an official offer worth €42 million plus bonuses to secure Lookman's services based on a recommendation from Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.
Journalist Luis Gerardii clarified via the "X" platform that Al-Hilal's offer is the highest so far, surpassing Inter Milan's offer of €40 million, which Atalanta rejected for not reaching the required price.
Lookman, who is 27 years old, is still under contract with Atalanta until June 2027, giving the Italian club a strong position in negotiations and making it more difficult to complete the deal without a substantial offer.
Al-Hilal aims to finalize the deal quickly, especially with interest from Atletico Madrid as well, while Atalanta insists on receiving no less than €50 million to part with their outstanding Nigerian winger.
