Roma Announces New Signing Officially
The Italian club Roma has officially announced its signing of Colombian goalkeeper Davis Vasquez, with a contract extending until June 30, 2027, in a free transfer during this summer's transfer market.
Vasquez was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on May 12, 1998, and delivered an impressive performance last season with Empoli in Serie A, where he participated in 32 matches and established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in Serie A.
The Italian club stated that the goalkeeper chose the number 32 shirt, becoming the second Colombian player in the history of AS Roma after former star Victor Ibarbo.
The club concluded in its statement: "Welcome to the Italian capital, Davis Vasquez.. and we wish you success with the Giallorossi."
