Mohammed Al-Majhad, the midfielder of Al-Ahli Saudi team, officially announced his departure from the club after signing a final financial settlement, waiving all his financial dues that exceeded 12 million Saudi riyals.

Al-Majhad's decision to end his relationship with the Jeddah club came during the ongoing summer transfer window, despite his contract extending until the end of 2025, which was renewed in the summer of 2022 before the management decided not to continue with him.

Al-Majhad's undergoing a delicate knee cartilage surgery during the season before last caused him to miss most of last season's matches, appearing in only five games for a total of 36 minutes, during which he received two yellow cards.

The 26-year-old international player confirmed through his account on the 'X' platform that the moment of leaving Al-Ahli is the most difficult in his football career, after spending six years within the club's walls filled with feelings of belonging and loyalty.

Al-Majhad delivered an emotional farewell message, expressing his gratitude to his teammates and all administrative and technical staff, offering his greatest thanks to Al-Ahli fans, whom he described as the beating heart and primary supporter of his career.
