Tuesday 29-07-2025
Fahd Bin Nafal, the president of Saudi Al-Hilal Club, announced in an official lengthy statement via his account on the X platform, that he will not run for the presidency of Al-Hilal Club, thus closing the curtain on his historic phase with the leader.

Bin Nafal said: "Al-Hilal is a entity with historical milestones, 'golden platforms' that began from platform 59 to platform 70, and between them are six years of pride in working with men of great character who contributed to ensuring that Al-Hilal continues, first - thanks to God - as it was established and grew through the hands of its men and the continuous support of its fans.. Al-Hilal will remain for all of us a journey of a lifetime."

He added: "Every journey has a final platform... with a heart filled with gratitude and pride, as I have been a contributing member alongside my colleagues in the journey of this great entity, the time has come for me to hand over the banner of the club's leadership as it was, or better than it was - God willing - just as I received it, and my predecessors received it, and this is the approach of Al-Hilal."

He concluded: "I announce today my full support for the next candidate for the presidency of Al-Hilal Club Company according to what the Al-Hilal Club members' institution and the general assembly of the club company deem appropriate, thus preferring not to run in the new electoral cycle, and allowing the opportunity for new talents to continue the journey, asking the Almighty to grant Al-Hilal success in the present and future."

It is noteworthy that Al-Hilal managed to win 12 championships during Bin Nafal's presidency of the club, making him the president with the most titles in the history of the leader.
