The French newspaper "L'Équipe" revealed the arrival date of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the former Al-Qadisiyah striker, to France in preparation for his official joining of Marseille during the current summer transfer window.

The newspaper clarified that Aubameyang will arrive in France next Wednesday, around 7 PM, to sign contracts and officially join the southern team.

The Gabonese striker hopes to receive a warm welcome from Marseille fans, especially after the outstanding performance he delivered during his previous stint with the team, before moving to the Saudi league via Al-Qadisiyah.

Aubameyang had mutually terminated his contract with Al-Qadisiyah after one season, during which he participated in 36 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 3 assists.

It is worth noting that Aubameyang played 51 matches in the Marseille jersey in the 2023/2024 season, during which he scored 30 goals and assisted 11 others, over 4005 minutes of play.
