Federico Chiesa, the winger of English club Liverpool, has rejected an offer from Turkish club Fenerbahçe to join them during the current summer transfer window, according to the website "Football Italia".

Chiesa had joined Liverpool in the summer of 2024 from Juventus, but he has struggled to establish himself in the team's starting lineup, raising doubts about his future at Anfield.

Reports indicated that the Italian player requested Liverpool's management to allow him to leave, at a time when the Premier League champions were open to selling him, amid interest from several clubs.

The report confirmed that Chiesa, 27 years old, is not enthusiastic about the idea of playing in the Turkish league and prefers to return to Serie A, while Liverpool is asking for around 15 million euros to agree to his departure, which is the same amount they paid to sign him a year ago.

Chiesa participated in 14 matches with Liverpool last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
