Kessie Approaches Departure from Al-Ahli Towards Europe
Ivorian Frank Kessie has entered into advanced negotiations with the management of Al-Ahli Saudi Club to amicably terminate his contract, in preparation for a return to the European continent during the summer transfer window.
According to what was published by the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Kessie's contract with Al-Ahli has only one year remaining, but he prefers to embark on a new experience despite the high annual salary of 13 million dollars net.
The Ivorian player is attracting interest from several European clubs, most notably English Tottenham and Italian Milan, in addition to Turkish club Besiktas, which is keen to sign him.
The Al-Ahli management has shown flexibility in facilitating his departure this summer, and may not oppose his exit for free, provided a satisfactory settlement regarding his remaining financial dues is reached.
According to the newspaper, Kessie has already agreed to waive part of those dues in exchange for being allowed to return to one of Europe's top clubs in the coming days.
