Ahmed Abdelkader, a player for Al Ahly, revealed the truth regarding the rumors about his request to terminate his contract with the club during the current summer transfer window.

Ahmed Abdelkader posted on his official Instagram account: "There have been several topics circulating in the media and on social media for a while, and I haven't spoken about them. All of them are rumors with no basis in truth, and I let them go, but when the matter escalates and becomes exaggerated, and every person sitting with a cup of coffee writes a rumor that spreads, the fault is not on him, the fault is on the people who believe it."

He added: "The issue of my request to terminate the contract with Al Ahly has no basis in truth. I am a player committed to my contract, and I have not made any actions that contradict this. In fact, I am fully committed until something new happens."

Abdelkader concluded: "I do not like to respond to rumors, but I decided to speak after the lies turned into widely circulated material in the media and on social media, thanking everyone who supported me and refused to be swayed by the rumors."
