The Italian club Juventus has taken serious steps to explore the possibility of signing Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, a player for Liverpool, during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to the website "Football Italia", Juventus management recently contacted their counterparts at Liverpool to inquire about Nunez's situation, given the Bianconeri's desire to strengthen their attacking line, although the priority currently remains to retain Frenchman Randall Kolo Muani.

The report indicated that Nunez prefers to remain in Europe rather than move to the Saudi league, despite interest from clubs like Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, in addition to Napoli and Atletico Madrid.

Juventus aims to finalize the deal on a loan basis with an obligation to buy. Nunez joined Liverpool in the summer of 2022 from Benfica for 85 million euros and is contracted with the English club until 2028. He participated in 47 matches last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists.
