Tuesday 29-07-2025
Paris Saint-Germain has reached a verbal agreement with young French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, currently of Lille, in preparation for his signing during the current summer transfer window.

The interest from the Parisian club in signing Chevalier comes amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma within the team.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg indicated that the agreement between Paris and Chevalier includes a contract lasting until the summer of 2030, while negotiations with Lille have entered advanced stages, with all details of the deal close to being finalized.

Chevalier, who is 23 years old, has participated in 127 matches for Lille across all competitions, during which he conceded 127 goals and kept a clean sheet in 44 matches.

His current contract with Lille expires in June 2027, having joined the club in 2022 from Valenciennes.
