Barcelona Conducts Technical and Operational Test at Camp Nou in Preparation for Opening
Today, Monday, FC Barcelona conducted a technical and operational test at the new Camp Nou stadium, as part of its ongoing preparations to optimally equip it ahead of its reopening and hosting the team's matches in the near future.
According to what "Mundo Deportivo" reported, the test focused on the main and southern stands, with the participation of several internal departments of the club, such as security, operations, maintenance, facilities management, food and beverage services, and information technology, along with external companies responsible for operating the stadium during match days.
The test included checking several key systems, including sports and environmental lighting, sound systems, fire detection and extinguishing systems, emergency exits, alarms, evacuation procedures, accessibility, and signage, in addition to other essential elements in the operation of the stadium.
This test aims to assess potential technical and operational modifications before the official opening, as a pivotal step in the project's timeline, where the club is scheduled to continue implementing multiple technical tests and simulations in the coming weeks to ensure the stadium is ready to provide the best possible experience from day one.
