Real Madrid Opens Door to Selling Vinicius
Spanish media reports indicate that Real Madrid is open to the idea of selling its Brazilian star Vinicius Junior, amid stalled negotiations for his contract renewal with the team.
Vinicius's current contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2027, but the player has recently halted negotiations regarding a new contract, due to his desire to earn the highest salary in the team, similar to his teammate Frenchman Kylian Mbappe.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Real Madrid welcomes the sale of Vinicius if a suitable financial offer is received, with any negotiations to be conducted directly with the club's president Florentino Perez or his close assistant Jose Angel Sanchez.
On its part, the website "Football Spain" noted that this direction from the Real Madrid management comes after a season considered one of Vinicius's weakest seasons in the royal club's jersey.
It is worth mentioning that Vinicius, who is 25 years old, has participated in 322 matches with Real Madrid since joining in the summer of 2018 from Brazilian Flamengo for 45 million euros, during which he scored 106 goals, provided 83 assists, and won 14 titles with the team.
