Moroccan Rida Slim, a player for Egyptian club Al Ahly, is nearing departure from the Red Castle during the current summer transfer window, amid interest from a Qatari club looking to officially sign him.

According to media reports, the Al Ahly coaching staff is set to hold a decisive meeting in the coming hours with representatives of the Qatari club to discuss the submitted offer and make a final decision regarding the deal.

The Al Ahly team returned to Cairo on Sunday, coming from Tunisia, after the conclusion of their external camp that began on June 18, which included two friendly matches against Tunisian side Al-Malab and Banzart.

Rida Slim is also attracting interest from prominent Moroccan clubs, including Wydad Athletic Club and Royal Army, who are looking to strengthen their squads in preparation for the upcoming season.
