David Moyes Confirms Official Offer for Adam Aznou
Sunday 27-07-2025
David Moyes, the manager of English club Everton, confirmed that his club's management has made an official offer to Bayern Munich to sign young Moroccan left-back Adam Aznou during the current summer transfer window.

Moyes stated in press remarks following his team's friendly loss to Bournemouth (0-3) on Saturday evening: "We have made an offer... we will have to wait and see if it will be accepted, and whether everything will be settled."

The English coach added: "He is a young player with great potential and a promising future, and we see that he could be a strong addition to the team."

Several British media outlets have indicated that Aznou (19 years old) is close to moving to Everton, but the financial details of the deal remain the main obstacle.

According to the German newspaper Bild, Aznou has informed Bayern Munich's management of his clear desire to leave during the current summer transfer window, preferring a permanent sale over staying, especially after his chances of participating with the first team have diminished.

Aznou is contracted with the Bavarian club until June 2027 and was willing to stay provided he received more playing minutes, but Bayern's management has not yet shown any clear intention to let him go.

In addition to Everton, several clubs from La Liga have expressed interest in signing Aznou, who spent last season on loan with Real Valladolid and caught attention with his great talent.
