Media figure Ahmed Hassan, former star of Zamalek, revealed a surprise regarding the new season regulations.
Hassan stated on his Facebook page: "The regulations for the new season stipulate that withdrawing from any match results in a penalty of 3 points, in addition to another 3 points related to the match itself, along with a financial fine."
The draw for the Egyptian Premier League revealed that the match between Al Ahly and Zamalek will take place in the ninth round.
Zamalek will face Ceramica Cleopatra in the first round, while Al Ahly will face Modern Sport.
