Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Newcastle United has made a substantial offer to Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko to convince him to join them this summer.

Romano confirmed that the offer made by the English club includes a huge salary and an ambitious sports project, as the club aims to make the young star the main face of its new project in the coming years.

Romano also stated that Newcastle's management is awaiting the player's response this week, after his agent reviewed the details of the project presented by the club.

On the other hand, the Italian journalist clarified that Manchester United is still considering the player's name among its options, but has not made any official offer yet, which gives Newcastle an advantage in the current negotiations.
