The German club Bayern Munich has approached a final agreement with Liverpool regarding the contract of Colombian winger Luis Diaz during the current summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, negotiations between the two clubs have reached advanced stages after Bayern made a new offer of 80 million euros, following the rejection of the initial bid of 70 million euros.

The report indicated that Bayern Munich and Liverpool have reached a preliminary agreement regarding the player's transfer, and discussions are currently ongoing about the final details related to the financial value to complete the deal.

For his part, Liverpool coach Arne Slot hinted at the possibility of Diaz's departure this summer, confirming that his future is under discussion, following his absence from the team's friendly match against Milan.

It is worth noting that Luis Diaz joined Liverpool in January 2022 from Porto for 37.5 million pounds, and his current contract with the Reds runs until the summer of 2027.
