Intense Clash Between Liverpool and Real Madrid Over Rodrigo and Konaté
Sunday 27-07-2025
The Spanish newspaper "Marca" revealed the possibility of a new clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid during the ongoing summer transfer window, following previous tensions between the two clubs over the Alexander Arnold deal.

According to the newspaper, Liverpool is considering Brazilian Rodrigo, a Real Madrid player, as a potential option if Colombian Luis Diaz, who did not participate in the recent friendly match against Milan, leaves, as Bayern Munich is interested in acquiring the player.

"Marca" pointed out that Rodrigo is contemplating the possibility of leaving Real Madrid, especially after being sidelined in the Club World Cup, and although no official decision has been made, the coming days could be decisive in determining his future.

On the other hand, Liverpool is closely monitoring Real Madrid's movements regarding French defender Ibrahima Konaté, who is entering the final year of his contract with the English club and has not renewed it yet. The newspaper indicated that Real Madrid might repeat the scenario of signing Arnold by waiting for Konaté's contract to expire and signing him for free.

"Marca" confirmed that Liverpool will not make it easy for Konaté to leave, while Real Madrid does not consider the deal a priority, especially after acquiring a number of prominent signings this summer.
