Officially.. Al Ahly Announces the Departure of Wissam Abu Ali
The Egyptian Al Ahly Club officially announced in a statement today, Saturday, its approval to sell its striker Wissam Abu Ali to Columbus Crew in the USA during the summer transfer window.
The club stated: "Al Ahly has agreed to sell Wissam Abu Ali, the first team football striker, to Columbus Crew after intensive negotiations over the past period."
It added: "The contracts management has completed all procedures in coordination with the American League Clubs Association regarding the player's purchase contract, according to the sales system followed there."
It concluded: "Wissam Abu Ali has already undergone a medical examination in preparation for the activation of his contract with his new team."
Al Ahly had signed Wissam Abu Ali from Sirius in Sweden in January 2024, and he participated with Al Ahly in 60 matches, scoring 38 goals and providing 10 assists.
