Khalid Boutaib Reveals Offer from Moroccan League
The former Moroccan international Khalid Boutaib, striker for the Atlas Lions, revealed that he received an official offer from one of the clubs in the Moroccan Professional League (Botola Pro) during the current summer transfer window, to undertake his first experience in the national league.
Boutaib stated in press remarks: "Yes, I received an offer from one of the clubs in the Moroccan Professional League this summer. I spoke with the club officials about some sporting details, and we will see what happens. Playing in Morocco will not be for the money, but rather for my desire to experience the atmosphere of our league."
He added: "I am inspired by the excitement in the national stadiums and the passion of Moroccan fans for football. I would be happy to play here, especially at this stage which is witnessing significant development in national football."
Boutaib (38 years old) also clarified that he received calls from one of the clubs in the Egyptian league, but he is not considering a return to Egypt after a previous experience that did not meet his expectations.
