Barcelona Arrives in Japan to Start Asian Tour Ahead of New Season
The Spanish club Barcelona's delegation arrived in Japan early Saturday morning to begin its preparatory Asian tour for the new season, after a flight that lasted more than 12 hours, which included a slight delay from the scheduled time.
According to what was reported by the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the delegation landed at Kansai Airport in Osaka, before heading directly to Kobe City, where the team will stay at the Kobe Portopia Hotel, in preparation for the first friendly match of the tour against Vissel Kobe, scheduled for Sunday.
The trip was attended by the club president Joan Laporta, along with several board members, including vice president Rafa Yusti, treasurer Ferran Olivier, and several other officials.
Meanwhile, vice president Elena Fort was absent due to her engagement in following up on matters related to the team's return to Spotify Camp Nou, while sporting director Deco remained in Barcelona to work on the departures file.
This move comes after resolving all the obstacles that caused the travel delay by one day, as the club seeks to make the most of the tour for physical and technical preparation for the new season.
