French journalist Santi Aouna revealed that the transfer deal of Saudi international Saud Abdulhamid, a player from AS Roma, to French club Toulouse has been officially finalized.
According to the source, Abdulhamid will join the French club on loan for one season, in a move aimed at giving him the opportunity to gain more playing time.
An official announcement regarding the deal is expected to be made in the next few hours, making Abdulhamid one of the few Saudi names to experience a professional stint in the French league.
Abdulhamid had joined Roma last summer from Al Hilal, and he played only 8 matches with the Italian club, scoring one goal and providing another assist.
