Reports indicate that English striker Callum Wilson, former Newcastle United player, has reached a full agreement on personal terms with West Ham, in preparation for joining them during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to the "talkSPORT" website, the deal is nearing completion after finalizing the contractual details, while West Ham is currently in the United States for preparatory matches ahead of the new season.
Wilson left Newcastle this summer after five seasons, during which he played 130 matches for the Magpies, scoring 49 goals and assisting 11 others, since joining the team from Bournemouth in the summer of 2020.
West Ham is scheduled to face Manchester United next Sunday morning, then meet Everton on Thursday morning, July 31.
