FC Barcelona is preparing for its training camp in Japan in anticipation of the start of the 2025/2026 season, under a new direction led by German coach Hans Flick, who is implementing stricter discipline within the team.

Barcelona's delegation will travel to Japan and South Korea, where the team will play three friendly matches against Vissel Kobe, Seoul, and Daegu, before returning to play the 2025 Joan Gamper Trophy match against Italian side Como.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Flick has made several strict internal adjustments in the locker room in recent days and has instructed to reduce the social and commercial activities in which players participate.

This decision was made to ensure a balance between their personal lives and their professional sports careers, especially as their schedule has been crowded with off-field commitments recently.

The newspaper also stated that the German coach has decided to limit the media appearances of the team's players in the upcoming season and reduce celebrations, while organizing promotional activities away from the spotlight, with the aim of increasing players' focus solely on the sports aspect.

Barcelona is set to open its season in La Liga with a match against Real Mallorca on August 16, as part of the first round of La Liga 2025/2026.
