Manchester City Finalizes James Trafford Deal
Friday 25-07-2025
Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that Manchester City has reached an official agreement to sign English goalkeeper James Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

Romano clarified via his official account on X platform that the deal cost Manchester City's coffers £27 million, and Newcastle has been informed of the goalkeeper's final decision.

The source indicated that Trafford agreed to return to Manchester City after coach Pep Guardiola insisted on bringing him in to strengthen the goalkeeper position.

It is noteworthy that Trafford is a graduate of the Man City academy and has been loaned to several clubs, notably Accrington Stanley and Bolton, before moving to Burnley in 2023 for €17 million.
