Alexander Isak, the striker for Newcastle United, has entered a crisis with his club after submitting a request to leave during the current summer transfer window, which led to his exclusion from the team's delegation heading to Singapore for the pre-season training camp for the new season.

According to the British newspaper "Telegraph", Newcastle firmly refuses to part ways with Isak this summer, despite his official request to leave, and insists on not renewing his contract with the club.

English club Liverpool and Saudi club Al-Hilal are competing to sign the outstanding Swedish striker, as Newcastle previously rejected an offer from Liverpool worth £120 million, while the English club is preparing to raise the offer to £130 million.

Isak joined Newcastle in 2022 from Spanish club Real Sociedad for £63 million, and last season he participated in 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 27 goals and providing 6 assists.
