Crisis in the New Pyramids Deal
Media figure Ahmed Shobair, a former Al Ahly star, revealed that the South African club Sundowns has refused to relinquish one of its stars to Pyramids.
Shobair stated in remarks via "On Sport FM": "I spoke with Pyramids officials to understand the truth behind the negotiations with Lucas Ribeiro, and they confirmed to me that there are indeed negotiations with the player, but things are difficult."
He added: "Pyramids officials confirmed that Sundowns will not easily part with the player, especially since there is an offer from Qatari club Qatar."
He continued: "Pyramids officials are trying to finalize the deal, but they see that there is a very slim hope of signing the player."
