Barcelona Cancels Trip to Japan Due to Contract Breach by Organizers
Barcelona announced on Wednesday evening the cancellation of its trip to Japan, where it was scheduled to play a friendly match against Vissel Kobe next Sunday, due to what the club described as a serious breach of contract by the organizing party.
The Catalan club clarified in a statement on its official website that it is currently considering the possibility of rearranging part of its summer tour in South Korea, where it is planned to play two friendly matches against Seoul FC on July 31 and Daegu FC on August 4, provided that the organizing party adheres to the specified agreements.
Barcelona indicated that if the terms are agreed upon, the team will head to South Korea in the coming days, expressing its regret to its fans in Japan for the cancellation of the visit.
The team is scheduled to continue its group training under coach Hans Flick at 11 AM instead of traveling to Japan.
