Officially.. Liverpool announces the signing of Hugo Ekitike
Liverpool Football Club has announced the signing of French forward Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt during this summer's transfer window.
The English club confirmed via its official account on X platform that the French player has signed a contract that extends for six years with the Reds, until the summer of 2031.
According to reports, the value of the deal is 80 million euros as a fixed fee, in addition to 10 million euros in easy incentives and 5 million euros in difficult incentives, bringing the total financial package for the deal to 95 million euros.
Ekitike has become the latest player to join Arne Slot's squad this summer, following the arrivals of Jeremy Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Georgi Mamardashvili, and Florian Wirtz.
The club has not yet revealed the number the player will wear with the team.
