Atiyah Allah Approaches Return to Wydad
Wydad Athletic Club is working to regain the services of left-back Yahya Atiyah Allah during the ongoing summer transfer window, to strengthen the team's roster ahead of the new season.
Media reports revealed that Wydad's management made an initial offer of 500 million centimes to the Russian club Sochi, but the offer was rejected after the Russian team's officials demanded one billion centimes in exchange for releasing the player, which Wydad considered an exaggerated figure.
According to the same sources, Atiyah Allah is open to the idea of returning to the Red Castle this summer, following a professional stint in the Russian league that included a loan to Al Ahly of Egypt, where he participated in 22 matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
The Moroccan international hopes to regain his form and confidence in the coming period by playing more minutes with his former team, to secure his place in the Moroccan national team ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup finals.
