Officially.. Barcelona announces the signing of Rashford
The Spanish club Barcelona announced in an official statement today, Wednesday, the signing of the English winger Marcus Rashford, coming from Manchester United.
The club said: "Barcelona and Manchester United have reached an agreement regarding the loan of player Marcus Rashford until June 30, 2026."
It added: "The agreement also includes a purchase option for the English forward at the end of next season."
According to information from journalist Fabrizio Romano, the purchase option in Rashford's contract is set at 30 million euros.
It is noteworthy that Rashford is Barcelona's second signing this summer after acquiring goalkeeper Juan Garcia.
