It seems that Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is on his way back to the Turkish Super League during the ongoing summer transfer window, this time through Trabzonspor, the traditional rival of his former team Galatasaray.

Ziyech, who is 32 years old, recently ended his association with Qatari club Al-Duhail after an unsuccessful half-season, during which he played only 13 matches, and he is now a free agent, allowing him to sign with any club, thus opening the door for his return to Europe.

Ziyech previously had a brief experience in Turkey wearing the Galatasaray jersey, but it did not last long due to tensions with the coach and management, culminating in the termination of his contract last winter.

According to the Turkish newspaper "Akşam", Trabzonspor has entered advanced negotiations with Ziyech and his agent, preparing to present an official offer in the coming days, with the player initially welcoming the idea of returning to Turkey, but this time with the "Bordeaux and Blue".

Ziyech's name was also mentioned among the interests of Beşiktaş, but the club president Serdal Adalı rejected signing him for undisclosed reasons, prompting the player to change his potential destination to Trabzon.

Hakim Ziyech hopes that this step will be a new opportunity for his football revival, after experiences that did not go as hoped at Chelsea, Galatasaray, and Al-Duhail, especially since he still dreams of returning to the Moroccan national team under the leadership of Walid Regragui.
