Wearing the number 10 represents a significant symbolic step for Mbappe, reflecting his status as the leader of the club's new project, as this number has historically been associated with the best players in the world, placing the French player in front of greater challenges in the upcoming phase.

The French star's adoption of the number 10 comes after the departure of Croatian star Luka Modric this summer, following the end of his contract with the royal club, noting that Luka has officially joined AC Milan.

Real Madrid was deliberating between Guler and Mbappe for the number 10 before the royal club decided to grant the number to the French star, who has been wearing number 9 since joining the team last summer.
