Napoli Aims to Sign Stars from the English Premier League
Napoli continues its movements in the current summer transfer market to bolster the first team in preparation for the 2025/2026 season, as part of its efforts to maintain the league title and compete in other tournaments.
According to 'Football Italy', Napoli has turned its attention to the duo Federico Chiesa, winger of Liverpool, and Jack Grealish, player of Manchester City, to strengthen the winger position, as the club sees Chiesa as an ideal option, especially after he was excluded from Liverpool's preparatory list for the new season.
Chiesa has significant experience in Serie A after playing for years with Juventus before moving to Liverpool last summer, while Grealish comes as a second option, after being left out of Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola's plans and his desire to experience something new outside of England.
It is worth noting that Chiesa played only 14 matches with Liverpool last season, scoring two goals and assisting two others during 466 minutes of play, with his market value currently at 14 million euros, compared to 28 million euros for Grealish.
