Brazilian Rodrigo, winger for Real Madrid, received a strong shock from his new coach Xabi Alonso regarding his situation with the team for the upcoming season, amidst uncertainty surrounding his future within the royal club.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Alonso held sessions with Real Madrid players to explain his vision and plans for the new season, without definitively resolving the issue of any player's departure, but he made sure to inform some players about their potential roles, and the Spanish coach confirmed to Rodrigo that it would be difficult for him to get many playing minutes next season.

In contrast, Alonso informed his teammate Ibrahim Diaz that he would remain an influential substitute, with the club eager to retain his services. Previous reports indicate that Rodrigo, who is 24 years old, is already considering leaving in search of more playing opportunities to maintain his place in the Brazil national team for the 2026 World Cup.
