Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, 38 years old, is preparing for a new chapter in his long career as he is close to leaving Argentine club Newell's Old Boys to join Mexican side Pumas.

Navas has not participated with Newell's in recent rounds, which has angered the team's fans, before the news of his transfer to Mexico was confirmed, with several Mexican media outlets confirming this matter.

Some radio and television programs also added that the veteran goalkeeper will arrive in Mexico tomorrow to sign a one-year contract with Pumas, after he did everything he could to complete the deal.

Navas's career has seen significant milestones with several major clubs, most notably Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, and with his anticipated move to Pumas, the Mexican club will be the eighth team in his illustrious sports career.
