Real Madrid Seeks to Avoid Internal Conflicts Due to Vinicius
Monday 21-07-2025
Real Madrid is working to finalize the renewal of its Brazilian star Vinicius Junior's contract, while maintaining the club's financial policy and avoiding breaking the salary scale, to prevent any potential clashes with stars Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.

According to Spanish newspaper "AS", Vinicius's current contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2027, but the player is demanding a higher salary that reflects his achievements, having been pivotal in the team's winning of the Champions League titles in 2022 and 2024.

Real Madrid fears that granting Vinicius an annual salary exceeding 15 million euros net could spark a crisis within the locker room, especially with Mbappe and Bellingham present, which the club is trying to avoid. Meanwhile, Vinicius's camp argues that Mbappe received a substantial signing bonus upon his arrival, effectively equivalent to a higher salary distributed over the duration of his contract.

The report confirmed that the Brazilian player, who joined Real Madrid seven years ago, wishes to continue and make history with the royal team, ignoring offers from Saudi Arabia, while the club is confident that both parties will be able to reach a quick agreement that satisfies everyone.
