Liverpool Plans to Make Two Additional Signings After Ekitike
Liverpool FC continues its movements in the ongoing summer transfer market, as it prepares to officially announce the signing of French striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, after he underwent medical examinations today, Monday.
Reports indicate that the Reds' management will not be satisfied with the Ekitike signing to bolster the attacking line, given the possibility of Colombian Luis Diaz moving to Bayern Munich. Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that Liverpool is prioritizing the signing of another striker in the coming days.
Jacobs also added that the English club's management is also looking to strengthen the defense by signing a new defender to reinforce the squad before the start of the next season.
According to reports, the Ekitike deal will cost Liverpool 90 million euros, including add-ons, with the French striker set to be tied to a contract that extends until the summer of 2031.
Ekitike is 23 years old and has played 64 matches with Frankfurt in various competitions, during which he scored 26 goals and provided 14 assists.
