The Italian club Inter Milan continues its serious steps to sign Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman, a player for Atalanta, during the current summer transfer window, as part of the Nerazzurri's efforts to strengthen their attacking line.

According to the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Inter has made Lookman a primary target to bolster the attack, especially with the impending sale of Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi, who is attracting interest from Fulham and Besiktas.

The newspaper indicated that Inter has already reached an agreement with Lookman on the personal terms of his contract, while the agreement with Atalanta has not yet been finalized due to a disagreement over the financial compensation, as Atalanta has requested €50 million, while Inter intends to submit an enhanced offer that could reach €45 million.

It is worth noting that Lookman, 26 years old, joined Atalanta in 2022 and has delivered impressive performances, scoring 52 goals in 118 matches across all competitions.
