Shabi Excludes 3 Players and Requests 5 New Contracts to Strengthen Raja
Monday 21-07-2025
Raja Sports Club continues its closed preparatory camp in the city of Agadir, in preparation for the start of the new football season, amidst an atmosphere of focus and discipline.

The camp started on July 14 and will continue until the 26th of the same month, as part of the first phase of the preparatory program led by Tunisian coach Lassaad Jarda Shabi.

According to Moroccan reports, Shabi has prepared a new technical report regarding the team's preparations, which includes an evaluation of the players' performance and technical observations, in preparation for the final list approved for the upcoming season.

The reports revealed that Shabi requested the exclusion of three players from the team due to his lack of confidence in their technical level and his need for their services in the upcoming phase, while emphasizing the necessity of signing five new players to strengthen the team and ensure a strong bench that meets Raja's ambitions in competing for titles.

The "green" team had strengthened its ranks during the current transfer window with the return of the duo Badr Bannon and Mohamed Al-Makazi, in addition to signing Nigerian Moses Akoroma.

The club's management also renewed contracts for four of the team's most prominent players, namely Mohamed Boulksout, Abdallah Khafifi, Adam Al-Nafati, and Saber Boukrin.

These moves are part of the club's project to rebuild a team capable of restoring Raja's glory, after a past season that did not meet the expectations of the fans.
