Ben Khalek is no longer among the priorities of Wydad's technical committee, despite being a prominent target for the club before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup. However, the player preferred to participate in the tournament with Al Ain, which he is betting on for the upcoming phase, especially after being officially registered among the players residing in the Emirati team.

In a related context, Mehdi Mbarek has definitively exited Wydad's plans after remaining outside the technical staff's plans at Al Ain, which is considering the possibility of loaning him again this season, following his previous experience with the red team, which was preceded by a loan period to Raja Club Athletic.
