Spanish journalist Anton Miana revealed new developments regarding the future of defender Aymeric Laporte with Al-Nassr Saudi Club, amidst the uncertainty surrounding his position for the upcoming season.

During statements to "Cadena SER" radio, Miana confirmed that Al-Nassr does not intend to rely on Laporte as part of its starting lineup for the next season.

Although Laporte's name is linked to a return to Athletic Bilbao, the journalist indicated that the Saudi club has not yet received any official offer from the Spanish team.

Miana explained that Al-Nassr's management refuses to let Laporte go for free, which means that any potential transfer would require a satisfactory financial agreement for the club.

He added that the player would have to significantly reduce his salary if he wants to return to Bilbao, confirming at the end of his remarks that there are signs of an imminent agreement between all parties.
