Moroccan international Nail Al-Ainawi, midfielder for the French club Lens, has successfully passed the medical examination in preparation for his official joining of the Italian club Roma, in a transfer deal valued at around 25 million euros.

The 24-year-old player arrived in the Italian capital Rome on Saturday evening, where he underwent the usual medical tests, which had previously prevented his transfer to the French club Monaco in the last summer transfer window, before he succeeded this time in passing them.

Al-Ainawi signed a five-year contract with the "Wolves" club, and the Italian club's signing of Al-Ainawi comes as part of its efforts to strengthen the midfield with young and high-quality players.

The Moroccan player caught attention during the last season in Ligue 1 thanks to his distinctive vision of the field, tactical discipline, and ability to connect the lines.

Al-Ainawi's joining of the Italian league is a new step in a series of successful transfers for Moroccan players to the major European leagues, especially after the brilliance of prominent names in Serie A in recent seasons.
