Newcastle United Sets Price for Isaac
Newcastle United has set a hefty price for the Swedish striker Alexander Isak after interest from Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal and Liverpool in acquiring his services this summer.
According to press sources, Liverpool has expressed its willingness to pay £120 million to sign the Swedish Isak from Newcastle United.
The British newspaper "Telegraph" reported that Newcastle United is asking for £150 million to part with Isak, which is a record number.
The newspaper confirmed that Newcastle's owners will not accept any offer lower than their valuation of the 25-year-old Swedish striker.
Due to Newcastle's inflated asking price for Isak, Liverpool officials have shifted their attention towards French striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
For its part, Al Hilal is currently leading the race to sign the Swedish striker after failing to secure a deal for Nigerian Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
