Barcelona Commits to Pay €115,000 to Register Rashford and Juan Garcia
Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed that FC Barcelona will have to pay approximately €115,000 to the Spanish Football Federation to register the new duo Marcus Rashford and Juan Garcia in the team roster for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
The newspaper clarified that the club will pay €115,618 as mandatory registration fees for the two signings, with €57,809 for each player, a fee imposed on all top-flight transfers. This comes after Barcelona is close to signing Rashford on loan from Manchester United, and the addition of Juan Garcia as part of the team's summer reinforcements.
The newspaper also noted that Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will not be subject to these fees this season, as they were already paid when he joined last season, despite needing to re-register after the end of last season.
Barcelona will also pay about €31,000 as license fees for the 25 first-team players for the new season, bringing the total expenses the club will incur for registering players and new signings to around €146,618, as part of its preparations for the season under the leadership of Hans Flick.
