Journalist Luis Gerardi clarified that Al Hilal has positioned itself favorably in the race, especially given the player's hesitation in finalizing his decision, which gives the Saudi club a golden opportunity to secure the deal.

He noted that Inter Milan was the first to show interest in Lookman's services, but their financial capabilities do not allow them to match the amount set by Atalanta for the player, which is 50 million euros.

Napoli has also expressed a desire to acquire the Nigerian winger, but they have not yet made an official offer, waiting for the sale of their striker Victor Osimhen, which gives Al Hilal an advantage in negotiations.
