
Wissam Abu Ali on the Brink of Leaving Al Ahly
Media personality Ahmed Shobair confirmed that Wissam Abu Ali, a player for Al Ahly, is close to leaving the red ranks to join Columbus Crew in the United States during the current summer transfer window.
Shobair stated during his radio remarks: "The Wissam deal is nearing its end, Al Ahly requested certain conditions, and there was a lot of back and forth, but all of Al Ahly's requests have been met, and soon the deal will be finalized, God willing."
He added that Al Ahly had stipulated receiving 20% of the player's future resale value, and it was agreed upon to set it at 15%, in addition to a financial compensation of 7.5 million dollars, plus 2 million dollars in other privileges.
Shobair continued: "This way, Al Ahly is closing the chapter on the story that has occupied people's attention for a while."
