The Italian club Roma is close to finalizing one of its most prominent summer signings, having reached a final agreement with French club Lens to acquire Moroccan international Nail Al-Ainawi, as confirmed by reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano mentioned that the value of the deal is 23 million euros, in addition to variable incentives worth 2 million euros, indicating that the player will sign a contract extending for five years after passing the scheduled medical examinations tomorrow, Saturday, in the Italian capital, Rome.

Al-Ainawi was close to moving to French club Monaco last summer, but the deal faltered at the last moment due to a minor medical issue.

Al-Ainawi played 26 matches in all competitions with Lens last season, scoring 8 goals and providing one assist.
