The Saudi national football team continues to implement the approved preparation program led by French coach Hervé Renard, in preparation for participating in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Reports have indicated that Renard has not requested any changes to the current preparation plan, preferring to adhere to the previously established schedule for friendly matches and technical training.

The Green is set to face the Czech Republic on September 8, in a friendly match to be held at the Maltchoviska Stadium, as part of the preparatory program for the upcoming official matches.

Renard aims to make the most of the Czech experience to assess the players' readiness before the qualifiers, especially given the team's desire to present a strong version in the Asian playoffs.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi national team was drawn into Group B, alongside Iraq and Indonesia, which increases the importance of serious preparation to secure a ticket to the World Cup.
